Jerald A. Kessler is a “Mediator’s Mediator.” He has dedicated the last 15 years of his professional life to training, teaching, and practicing mediation. He is the former president of the Mediation Council of Illinois, and helped draft the Model Standards of Practice for Family and Divorce Mediation of the American Bar Association.

Jerald Kessler is a trained professional mediator. He is an Advanced Practitioner member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and is Certified in Family Mediation by the 19^thJudicial Circuit in Illinois. He has received training from the Chicago Center for Family Health, and has taken advantage of many other educational opportunities in mediation. He has also done a great deal of teaching about mediation and how to mediate.

Mr. Kessler obtained his JD from the University of Chicago and was admitted to practice in Illinois in 1973. He is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He has been in the private practice of law for over 30 years.

Jerald Kessler is highly respected as a mediator by Chicago and Illinois attorneys and judges, and is greatly sought-after for his mediation services and expertise.
